This artwork is from a collection named "Having Tea with Modigliani". Using mixed media technique, I tried to initiate an imaginary visual conversation between two artists, from different eras, and different cultural backgrounds. The dried flower which is used as the eye of one of modigliani's characters, is due to a metaphoric sign in Hafez Poetries, called " Nargese Mast" in Farsi(Persian), which means: The drunk narcissus. It represents the eyes of the Poet's beloved lady.
