I take pictures of moments that never happened and landscapes that don’t exist using a smartphone camera, a light source, and my finger. The process is a form of generative photography. The input of color and movement creating the raw materials that are processed as if the manufacturer's intent had been closely followed. This last step forms the engine that converts color and movement into a photograph. The divergence between the input and output can be substantial and in some instances the processing fails partially or entirely.

I started out on hicetnunc and it is unlikely that I would have started minting my work in any other environment. Some combination between the blankness of the UI and the tolerance of the community I found on twitter.
