This is a series called Immersion, based on the belief we humans are made up of the five elements,earth, water, fire, air, and space.

The inspiration for the art comes from the ancient Hindu tradition of immersing the goddess Durga in the river/ water for purification at the end of the puja for her symbolic return to the divine cosmos.
