Description
Created in the shadow of palliative care, this piece explores the scissors not as an instrument of violence, but as a gesture of mercy.
In those suspended rooms where time becomes fragile, care is often a form of cutting away: cutting pain, cutting fear, cutting the noise around the body, cutting the thread between suffering and peace.
The white figure stands between presence and disappearance, surrounded by stains of memory, tenderness, and grief. The scissors become a sacred object, precise and almost gentle. They do not erase life. They release what can no longer be carried.
The Last Kindness of the Cut is a quiet icon for the threshold: the unbearable softness of letting go.
