He was sent to execute her, but after learning her true story, he refused to remain a weapon in someone else's hands.
She, who wandered alone through a petrified garden, had long since accepted that she carried the heaviest stone in her chest - for pain and resentment are incompatible with love.
Yet here is that fragile moment when they stray from the beaten track and forge their own path. Perhaps it will lead to even greater sorrow, or perhaps it will reshape the world for the better...
