A series of "field" drawings in a black notebook that my friend Yefrosiniya Ostrashanskaya presented me on my birthday. For many, drawing is a kind of therapy. The notebook is my visual diary into which the stream of consciousness pours out. The black book is diverse with meanings - from the scariest to the cutest and the funniest. The work is done in a technique that resembles ordinary handwriting.  Clouds are like words in illegible handwriting, mountains are like diagrams with an abundance of lines, arrows, and dashes, textured fluffy spots, like ink accidentally smeared with your hand, the ground is like quick underlines.
