"There is something about the Himalayas not possessed by the Alps, something unseen and unknown, a charm that pervades every hour spent among them, a mystery."
The Himalaya is the great abode of the snow and mountains. Highest peaks of the planet reside here. Witnessing the vast mountains has always been a life goal of me, like many from across the globe for centuries. It is hard to put words on one's experience here - they represent nothing less than the crowning apex of nature’s splendor. The sheer desire to witness her enchantment then transcended me into the world of photography, an art form that could help convey beyond words.
This body of work is the culmination of years of meticulous planning, self-sustained trekking in high altitude, negotiating glaciers, pushing through sub zero temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
Presenting in this collection of 1/1 photographs, Himalayan Gold - the ephemeral drama of light in the majestic mountains.
