Stepping off the worn path and into a colorful forest, you hear water tumbling in the distance. The faint whisper of a promising beauty compels you to wander deeper into the woods toward a hidden creek. Through the trees, you can see a terrace of falling water nestled in a cozy gulch.
Hidden Creek captures the tranquility and whimsy of a mountain stream lined with trees, rocks and grasses colored in hues using a rainbow palette system. Created in a graphical style, the generative design is a playful and intriguing take on nature. Recursions, flow fields and organic pseudorandomness inform a complex of eight generative systems that produce a unique iteration in a definitive style.
