《Griddy》started from a survey of Mondrian’s and Raven Kwok’s work. During the process, several primitive elements are put together to form 《Griddy》.

The palette is chosen from RYB, RGB, CMYK. Three possible thicknesses are chosen for the grid line, and with a possibility of the same color with the background, forming a “negative space” effect. Three ratios for the partition of space, and with a possibility of “inverted ratio” when dividing space. For filling the grid, three prime numbers will be randomly selected for each color. And finally, a possibility that the whole grid moves.
