Released on the occasion of Day 29 Genuary 2025 for the prompt 'Grid-based graphic design'.

Grid Tones is a minimalist work which plays with and sometimes turns it's back on grid theory.

It is on open invitation for you "the collector" to play with the style, size and structure of these grids. There are a total of 75 palettes to choose from.

Controls:

Slider 1 - Apply randomness to the grid Slider 2 - Change the palette Slider 3 - Apply randomness to the colors Slider 4 - Apply further randomness to the grid layout and colors Slider 5 - Increase / Decrease the border size Use "S" key to produce a PNG output.

By handing over control to the public, I'm fascinated to see which palettes, grid styles become the most popular.
