An exploration of the Burning Ship fractal with deep blues and golden outlines.

The Burning Ship contains infinite detail. We often find the most interesting details under extreme magnification. This level of magnification is much greater than what would be required to see an individual atom when looking at a picture of the entire observable universe.

The Burning Ship is most well known for its unusual forms of symmetry and folds. However, sometimes this symmetry is heavily skewed or compressed. Shapes such as spirals are not easily found at first, but after stretching, these details reveal themselves.
