HELLIS, 2021

“GENDER GLITCHING” is a work that experiments through a dialogue that “gender is a construct"" and that there are abnormalities that take place along the process. When something is being constructed, it may very well be reconstructed. GENDER GLITCHING opens up a conversation of gender expression, blurring the gender line and break the typical gender construct. I take “glitching” as a blissful event as I believe that there be will no progress without chaos, hence the disturbance and raw energy that consistently appears in my work.
