Mono is a collection of generative animations. The pieces are designed to run continuously, drawing densely textured organic patterns that slowly build and evolve over time.
The collection is also a meditation on subtlety and constraint, attempting to convey contrast and life while using only the single color of gray. There are 10 possible color palettes, all grayscale, and no shade of gray is repeated across any two palettes.
The algorithm isn’t governed by any master seed tied to the mint hash, so the pieces will animate differently each time they are run. In this way, each iteration represents not just a single animation, but a large number of closely related animations that can be explored.
-spacebar will pause the animation
-return will resume the animation
-r will restart the animation
If you are having trouble playing the animation, try opening it directly on IPFS.
