And when We separated you by the sea, then saved you, and drowned the family of Pharaoh while you looked on...
Gehinnom
“Gehinnom” is a collection of photographs and videos related to a micro-theatre project with the same name which was inspired by the works of “Hotel Modern” theatre group and "Jan Švankmajer" experiences. “Gehinom” is a visual narrative and an imaginary representation of life before and after death and the name and concept of it come from a valley in Jerusalem and the biblical term that corresponds to the Christian Hades, Hell or Purgatory. This valley is located in the city of Jerusalem, south of Mount Zion, which was once a garbage dump. People of this valley used to burn the bodies of the sacrilegious, such as those who had committed suicide.
