45 years ago on May 12th, 1977 an 18 years old student was killed in Rome during a demonstration celebrating three years since the divorce referendum. As of today, no one has been found guilty for firing that bullet. Her name was Giorgiana Masi and her death shook the public opinion of the time.
45 years ago a close friend of my family, an artist that made a living with another job, created a painting that still hangs in my parent's living room and that has inspired me to seek art in all its forms. That painting represents an abstract human figure trapped in cage that takes a bullet while on the street.
This project is my digital reinterpretation of that painting and a thank you present to the first 45 among the holders of my other projects that will want to mint it.
