“Fugue” is a series of 20 works that explore the tension between structure and nature. By copying and layering photos of floor tiles, surfaces become grid systems that are disrupted when nature breaks through lines and shapes.

All photos were taken by us, then arranged into compositions using a xerox machine. In a final step scanned and digitally finetuned.
