It was all so surreal. I had only dreamed about seeing Yosemite covered in snow but had never experienced it myself. A storm had passed through the night before but it wasn’t cold enough to bring in snow. I thought once again I had missed my shot.

But then I woke up the next morning in a winter wonderland.

This is my first piece and it is very close to my heart. It was deeply important to me that I captured the emotion I felt in the moment both visually, and with the music that I scored to it.
