"Found Boulder, Section Six #5, View #2" is a rendering of a large boulder scanned while artist in residence at JTHAR, Joshua Tree. In this piece of speculative realism the boulder becomes a "ghost" of its physical self, suspended in a void.

The work was completed in "Section Six", otherwise known as the Desert View Conservation Area. This is an undeveloped square-mile parcel on the Onaga Trail east of Quail Springs Road, currently managed by the San Bernardino County Special Districts Department.
