Lost and found #1

They look like family photographs. Or pictures of friends you might find in an old box in the attic, or in an antique shop. They could belong to almost any time. Just those little moments we wanted to capture. Time has scorched them almost to the point of melting. Everything specific has almost dissolved. Names, places, stories. They stop belonging to one family and begin to feel like memories we all somehow share. Animation extends these moments a little longer. I look at them, and it feels like I'm remembering something that hasn't disappeared yet. There is grief there. But there is love, too.
