Description

The impermanence of the material. I wanted to break down these parts: the passion, the divine, the masculine, the feminine and the iconographic, that is why I show this triptych of a Christ at the column scourged with feminine attributes, surrounded by a a woman with masculine features and a man with feminine features, introduced on screens…appearing static figures, but nevertheless they breathe, blink and move before our eyes as if they were figures living religious in question. Two androgynous beings, man and woman, tied, in a reinterpretation contemporary neo of the column of the flagellation, but converted into dirty concrete pillar, intervened, graffitied and surrounded by lights of neon, a nod to the universe of networks and the vertical videos of three seconds of YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok that show us thousands of images per second while they numb us and prevent us from a place to reflection, for contemplation.
