Standing tall between the Chota and Bara Immambara, Rumi Gate is one of the most beautiful architectural structures you can find in The City of Nawabs, Lucknow. Built in the 1700s this gate has seen many wars, royals, British, processions, and the great Nawabs cross under it and enter the magnificent city. Also known as the Turkish Gate, was built by Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daula in 1784. It is an example of Awadhi architecture.
