This generative art project blends characters with Finnish landscapes. Certain areas are randomly filled with colors. Characters, landscapes, and colors are selected randomly from a series chosen by the artist, sourced from the Finnish National Gallery open-license collection.

The project features unlikely combinations of portraits from the 19th and 20th centuries, with specific parts highlighted by colors, prompting reflections on the passage of time and life in Finland during that era.

This project is part of the Combine24 competition, a generative art contest organized by the Finnish National Gallery.
