Field Recordings is a collection of observations. Each observation depicts an intangible entity and hints at the greater environment which spawned it.

Each token is accompanied by a signed physical plot which can be claimed for the price of shipping. Details can be found on the project website.

This work was created for plotting with a 0.3mm pen on A3 size paper. The dense shading in certain regions is an emergent outcome of the algorithm behind the work; the texture of these regions may vary quite a bit depending on the size and type of pen used as well as the thickness of the paper. Re-ordering lines for more efficient plotting is not recommended as it may produce nonuniform effects with certain pens when drawing over existing strokes.
