This image is part of the FFHQ_Datasets collection that attempts to document the data training process involved with some of my artworks. These odd creations that the machine produces while learning are fascinating images to me. Surreal moments captured from a process that remains both mysterious yet totally captivating. Although many in the field will have become accustomed to a certain GAN aesthetic, I’m curious of the collaged possibilities of the machine while it battles to ‘learn’ from a variety of image datasets that I am carefully curating.
