Life Vessel WIP X Reference self portrait double exposure shot.

This ambidextrous painting with textural acrylic on canvas started from a self portrait in front of my bathroom mirror, where I wiped the steam in the oval shape, the composition which I was keeping in my mind for a while. The idea started with the vision of magenta texture against the black background - I was trying to come up with best fitting pose for it to incorporate ambidextrous figure painting into the piece. This artwork is an important part of my body positive cross chain collection and is a step in my journey of self reflection and body image consciousness. It represents the feeling of being in piece with our life vessel and enjoying being yourself unapologetically.
