A portrait series dedicated to a piece of my heart. In February, the city of Cádiz transforms into one big fiesta. It's the time of Carnival.

Carnival music plays on every corner of the city, and the final touches are being put on the costumes (in Cádiz, they're called "Tipos"), some of which are true works of art. The residents of Cádiz participate wholeheartedly in their Carnival, which might be the funniest and most enjoyable in all of Spain.

Compared to the spectacular Carnival celebrations of other cities, the unique fun and humor of the Cádiz Carnival make this festival something special that one shouldn't miss.
