This animation is a continuation of the Fancy Tiles series that premiered in December 2020 and featured a grid filled with colored squares. The series later adopted a movement algorithm, which remained unmodified for this animated art piece.

Conceptually, artwork in this collection is about Roots, Diversity, and Community. This piece highlights tiles that by the end of the trip end up exactly where they started. Only for those who had to stay fixed in one position it may be seen as lack of progress. For those who traveled (however far), coming back to their origin is a sign of strength. Others, who travel too far from where they started, disappear and have to start over in the next reincarnation.

It is a fun animation to re-watch, as it features more than 400 tiles (some stay hidden outside the canvas) that move simultaneously and form interesting shapes when combined with other tiles.
