fafOS Chipset is a meditative study of circuitry as pattern, a generated boardscape where function becomes ornament. A solitary CPU anchors a field of ICs, passives, headers and screw-washers; copper traces weave pragmatic paths that, at close range, read like deliberate brushstrokes. Subtle gradients, silkscreened serials and tiny mechanical details give the piece a sense of manufactured provenance while preserving an abstract, repeated geometry.

This work treats placement and routing as compositional constraints: rules produce accidental harmonies. The visual language is intentionally ambivalent — both engineered and decorative — so that the strict logics of grids and trace routing reveal emergent, machine-like forms.
