Description
Australopithecus Africanus. South Africa. Middle Pliocene to Early Pleistocene. Extinct.
The South African Australopithecine rarely ventured far from their valleys and caves due to predation by large carnivores like lions and other big cats that can only be found in zoos, game parks, and nature reserves these days.
They shared the earth with cousins Australophiticus Afarensis, Homo Habilis, Homo Rudolfensis, Paranthropus Robustus, and others.
