This experiment is a variation around a 255-states cellular automaton. The state of the cell increases or decreases depending of the 8-states-discretized sum of its Moore neighborhood. The 255 different rules associated with this configuration have been tested and 52 of them have been selected and grouped into 5 types. This edition contains only the "Monster" type.

The screen is divided by 4. For each screen, a 5x5 random pattern seed is generated. After 550 iterations, 4 new random patterns are created.
