RELEASE is inspired by the way that thoughts can tend to run in cycles, the way we can get caught up on something unresolved. Until we find a way out of that loop. There is something about the way it feels to be stuck on something, and the way it feels great to find a way out of that loop. Many times we must validate and recognise how we feel in order to move on.

The aesthetic of RELEASE was inspired by Vaporwave. I specifically wanted something that felt like that particular era as it had a large imprint on me as an digital artist when I was creating during that era.

Vaporwave went on to inform so many things about digital art culture, that I feel it is worth recognising it's influence.
