Ephemera Fragments are here to celebrate the level of detail in my Ephemera 1/1 collection. Ephemera was created with recommendation for printing (6000px x 6000px) as it's only in full resolution that you can truly appreciate the textures, colours, gradients and effects of the overlaying lines. Ephemera Fragments are quarters (3000px x 3000px) of those Ephemera pieces that were imperfect, but had beautiful corners.

All the pieces are fully generated with the same code. I use Python and cairo. The script uses many random parameters, such as modes, the colour scheme or the placement, length and density of the lines. A lot of effort goes into ensuring the parameters fall in the predefined ranges that produce the most striking outputs. The outputs are then curated by myself.
