Unpredictable unique forms are generated and spread around the composition. Sometimes multiple forms are scattered across the canvas. Other times one long snake like form occupies the whole space. When the forms are multiplied it gives a sense of depth and perspective to the piece, Creating grid like portals to cyberspace. The piece evokes a sense of digital entanglement. Sometimes it feels as though we our trapped and controlled by various algorithms. Social media companies are incentivized by profit to manipulate our emotions and keep us on the app for as long as possible. The apps show us funny, sad, raunchy and scary content selected to keep people scrolling and clicking endlessly entangled in the algorithm. The machine toying with my human emotions.
