This is the beginning of EMITTER. A series of 100 one-take shots of paint flowing on a piece of paper. The pattern is machine generated by a 10 channel peristaltic pump system which emits drops of paint in specific speed and order. Every take is unique, no artwork left as the paint drains off of the paper and gets littered afterwards. I displace the 8K footage in post production to create the look and highlight the organic flow.
