I always loved the view of the visual emission/absorption spectra that provide us with a glimpse of the base elements that light passed through to reach us.

When light leaves distant suns and passes through the atmosphere of a planet, we can determine the elements that are present by the wavelengths of light that are absorbed prior to reaching us. Although the usual spectra visualizations show a lack of a color/wavelength to indicate the absorption/presence, I chose to increase its size and throw some fake details about.

Very simple, but I believe very beautiful!
