The vision for this piece started out as leaves. The different colors are to represent different seasons of the year. As the leaf focus took shape my thought was to create the symbolic illusion of a bird, thinking this was a great way to enhance the theme of this piece. The dark background represents Midnight and this is how Midnight Flutter came to be.
