EcoMandallah. is an Art-Ecology project that arises from photographic records made in the Atlantic Forest region in Southeastern Brazil (MG, SP) made by visual artist Miguel O. Fernandes, where he seeks, through the creation of Mandalas, to work on issues such as Urbanization , Deforestation, Colonization, Extractive Industrialization, Environmental Preservation.
Mandala: Present in several ancestral cultures around the world, it has several meanings and functions, serving for healing, concentration, purification and contact with spirituality. The term comes from Sanskrit, meaning Circle, and can also be interpreted as Completeness, Unity, Perfection... It brings the power of Self-knowledge, and the ability to balance and transform the energies of those who created it and all who contemplate it.
