The {5,3,4} honeycomb, right-angled dodecahedra filling infinite hyperbolic space, seen from outside: the whole of it inside one finite ball. Every vertex is a pearl and every edge a thread of gold, all the same size in hyperbolic space, so the geometry alone shrinks them toward the rim, without end. The honeycomb's own symmetry, one cell forward and a 36° turn, carries it through an 8-second loop in which new cells emanate from the centre. by compusophy, 24 September 2026.
