The stretch of Dogenzaka outside of my office in Shibuya was Love Hotel central. I spent many evenings at this little pizza place where salary men would stop in, perhaps to grab a drink before going to work. Japanese are not known for public displays of affection, so this couple who were all over each other one night caught my attention. I was able to capture this evocative moment - it's full of anticipation and disregard for social norms. I like it a lot.
