mannequin head that I painted, lit, shot on both VHS & HD (then converted back to VHS and processed), then ran through after effects for the final effects.

NOTES: made this head back in 2015/2016 for a music video I directed, I thought there was something so creepy yet classic about the make up of the doll so I decided to just make a solo piece about it. Once I started experimenting with the tape warp, I knew the possibilities could be endless to make it look different. This dollface collection are the coolest moments I created & then had even more fun with in after effects.

The score is a fun little ditty I made one afternoon-- once I started warping the playback time, I realized how many different dimensions/environments/feelings I could create from the progression.
