The Ball Room is a dance-centric culture that dates back to the 1960s, when African-American dragons met in ball rooms. In Mexico, over the years that it has developed, it seeks to create a unique and authentic language for those who practice it, a safe and comfortable space for communities of sexual diversity and acceptance of the body, as well as to eradicate the discrimination and exclusion from their environments and environments where it has had a place, encouraging the experience of the "community" and healthy coexistence among its members. This culture has as a transcendental objective to be more than a spectacle: it has to be a community that fights for its rights, defends its acceptance, protects its members and celebrates its diversity.
