Our world is ruled by computers. As years pass they can handle more and more tasks, sometimes better than humans themselves. However at their core, only a handful of different operations are processed, leading to complex behaviors by their number and arrangement. These operations are termed logic gates, and together they create a DIGITAL CIRCUITS.
This piece is a tribute to this emerging complexity. Logic gates are scattered on a grid, taking as inputs the output values of two (or one) gate(s) from the column preceding them. Six different gates are emulated:
