I’ve done a lot of pieces by over-processing classical paintings to a point of madness but for this series I’m exploring a little deeper the possibilities of AI Created Art using some of the latest technologies available.

Every time I’m creating a new piece, I want it to look fresh and unique. I’ve spent 10 days in the woods recently and I had time to experimented with a ton of different looks, textures, colors and I finally found something exciting enough to create a new series. I’m fascinated by these digital watercolors paintings created by AI so I decided to give them the Von Doyle treatment and I was blown away by the result. Now I simply can’t stop creating them.

In terms of the technical aspect behind this series I’m running some of my classic pieces in diffusion models to create this watercolor look and once I have something interesting I run it back into my neural networks and I do a collage using all of those versions with some slight digital retouching here and there.
