Each iteration emerges from an algorithm that weaves line, form, and chance across a grid , vertical threads dense as bark, fractured by white ruptures of an underlying structure. No brush touches the surface. The painting is written before it is seen. Urdiendo la Palabra takes its name from the Spanish verb urdir (to warp a loom, to plot, to construct )something beneath the visible. This is painting without pigment, weaving without thread, writing without language , the word being URDIDA, always in process, never complete.
