A two decade long project, inspired by Deleuze, to mimic systems of growth and evolution via the steady, patient accumulation of error.

Through the accumulation of hand-drawn lines from a custom pattern brush, repetition here creates a system of valleys akin to the ridged surface of metals at nanometer resolution - an aesthetic borrowed from tunnelling electron microscope imagery.
