An archaic mechanical technology projects images of microscopic biological structures from a thinner dimension. Initial exploration yields four hundred samples of primary organisms from a vast invisible sea. Composed of feathery, delicate rings of colorful cillia, these organisms are gently buffeted by an invisible current. Some are densely intricate while others are uncomplicated. A very few are polychromatic. All of them are mesmerizing.
