The canvas is split into horizontal or vertical stripes, with unequal probability.

Each stripe moves between varying hue values, according to a Perlin noise function that changes over time. Changes are slow, but perceptible.

The range of colours is limited by the generated hash, and texture is added to develop the visual interest of the piece.
