'decadence' series Alexandre Rangel, 2022

Mass market meets social psychology, coming together in an imagined surreal metaverse through an audiovisual playful glitch remix by new media creator Alexandre Rangel. The artist has been conducting a lifelong pursuit of expression with technological systems, live coding and custom live image software creation. The collection artworks are named after the books "La Révolution Moléculaire" (Félix Guattari, 1977) and "La Société du Spectacle" (Guy Debord, 1967) and the song "Décadence Avec Elegance", by Brazilian pop musician Lobão (1985).
