Religious symbolism is as stunning as it is deceitful - the pure artistical effort and inspirational power it generally inherits is out of the question. It is a display of the pinnacles of human craftsmanship & creativity - on one hand. Yet on the other hand it stands for the inability to accept the natural state of being, without promise, meaning or reason behind it - the inability to accept 'just being' as being enough, without the need of having to fill it with ideology of eternity and false hope.
