Acte I - Vestige d'un vestige 2026 Ready-made 40 × 25 × 5 cm Brique, carrelage, enduit

Prélevé dans les fondations d'une maison détruite à Aix-en-Provence, ce fragment de mur porte plusieurs strates de disparition : celle d'une architecture, celle d'un intérieur domestique, celle d'un temps révolu. Vestige avant même d'être œuvre, l'objet est scanné en 3D puis détruit. Un geste archéologique à rebours qui conserve avant d'effacer.

L'œuvre met en tension deux modes de conservation. D'un côté, le vestige matériel, marqué par le temps et l'histoire ; de l'autre, son double numérique, capable d'en préserver la forme. Le scan ne documente pas simplement l'objet : il en prolonge l'existence après sa disparition. Le NFT devient ainsi la trace d'une trace, le vestige d'un vestige.

Ce NFT constitue la première pièce du diptyque : Acte I - Vestige d'un vestige / Acte II - Chute.

Extracted from the foundations of a house destroyed in Aix-en-Provence, this fragment of wall carries several layers of disappearance: that of an architecture, that of a domestic interior, and that of a time now gone. A vestige before even becoming a work of art, the object is 3D scanned and then physically destroyed. An act of reverse archaeology that preserves before erasing.

The work places two modes of preservation in tension. On one side, the material vestige, marked by time and history; on the other, its digital double, capable of preserving its form. The scan does not simply document the object: it extends its existence beyond its disappearance. The NFT thus becomes the trace of a trace, the vestige of a vestige.

This NFT constitutes the first piece of the diptych Act I - Vestige of a Vestige / Act II - Fall.
